Wheat Halwa
It's a pudding made from whole wheat flour or atta is a popular sweet made in north India. The recipe is easy to make and can be made for any occasion or any day.

Serves: 3 to 4
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/3 cup ghee
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Pinch of cardamom
- 2 tbsp dry fruits
METHOD:
- Melt ghee in a pan on medium flame. Once the ghee melts, add wheat flour to it and mix to combine well with the ghee.
- Continue to stir the atta and cook until it turns brown in color and gives a nice aroma, take around 5 to 6 minutes on medium heat. Be careful to not burn the atta here.
- Heat 1 cup of water in a pan. Bring it to a boil.
- Add the hot water now.
- Stir continuously for a minute or two as you add the water and the water gets absorbed by the flour.
- Add sugar and mix. The halwa consistency will become liquid-y again after adding sugar. Continue to cook for 2-3 more minutes on medium heat after adding the sugar.
- Add cardamom powder and mix well and remove pan from the heat.
- Garnish with few dry nuts.
- Serve immediately as it tastes best when warm.
