Pizza Paratha

 If you're a pizza lover then must try this pizza paratha.

Pizza Paratha is a fusion of traditional paratha with pizza style stuffing. It's stuffed with pizza sauce, hot sauce and veggies, topped with cheese. This dish is really lipsmacking one which calms down your pizza cravings. 


RECIPE 
Prep time- 15 minutes 
Cook time- 15 minutes
Total time- 30 minutes 
Serves- 4

INGREDIENTS:
For the parathas:
  • 2 cups All purpose flour (Maida) or wheat flour 
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
For the stuffing:
  • 1/4 cup spring onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup capsicum, finely chopped 
  • 1/4 cup sweet corns, boiled
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • salt to taste 
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce (optional)
  • 1 tbsp pizza sauce
  • 1/3 cup grated cheese
  • Oil to toast
METHOD
  1. In a wide mixing bowl add all purpose flour, salt and first give a quick mix for salt to be even. Then add water little by little, gather to form a soft dough. Once it is gathered to a mass add 1 tsp oil and knead it once.The dough should not be too tight or too loose, it should be non sticky at this stage.
  2. To a mixing bowl, add onion, capsicum, sweet corns, salt, oregano and chilli flakes. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Now make 2 medium sized balls.
  4. Flour the surface and roll the dough. Spread pizza sauce and hot sauce evenly on one roti.
  5. Now sprinkle 1 tbsp of cheese. Then spoon the filling, fold & seal roti to make a triangle.
  6. Heat dosa tawa, carefully place the roti on the tawa. Drizzle oil and cook on both the sides until golden brown spots appear here and there. 
  7. Pizza Paratha is ready to serve.
  8. Serve hot with dip of your choice!
Note:
  1. If you want healthy version, add wheat flour instead of all purpose flour. 
  2. You can add any veggies of your choice.
  3. If spring onion is not available, add normal onions.
