Pears Lassi

Lassi is a popular traditional yogurt-based drink from the Indian subcontinent. Lassi is a blend of yogurt, water, spices and sometimes fruit. Lassis are enjoyed chilled as a hot-weather refreshment, mostly taken with lunch. This refreshing lassi is made from pears, curd, honey.
RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 green pear, deseeded 
  • 1/4 inch ginger
  • 3 tbsp honey 
  • 1.5 cup curd
  • 2 tbsp almonds, crushed for garnishing 
  • 2 tbsp sliced pears for garnishing 
  • Ice cubes as needed 
RECIPE:
  1. In a blender, combine deseeded pears, ginger, honey and blend all the ingredients well.
  2. Now add yogurt and few ice cubes and blend again.
  3. Now take 2 glasses, pour the  mixture and garnish with almonds and sliced pears.
  4. Serve chilled!
