Paan Coconut Ladoos🥥

 If you love paan and sweets then this is the recipe to try out. Gulkand filled Paan & Coconut Ladoos are instant delicious balls made with coconut, condensed milk and filled with gulkand, paan masala, cardamom powder and tutti frutti. These ladoos are super easy to make and tastes delicious. Serve these delicious ladoos after your everyday meals.


RECIPE 

Prep time: 5 minutes 

Cook time: 10 minutes 

Rolling time: 5-10 minutes 

Total time: 20-25 minutes 

Serves: 12-14 ladoos

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup desiccated coconut + more to dust
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 4 paan leaves/ betel leaves 
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 2 tbsp mixed dryfruits for garnishing 
  • Few drops of green food colour 

FILLING:

  • 4-5 tbsp gulkand/ rose petal preserve
  • 1 tbsp paan masala
  • 1 tbsp tutti frutti 
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder

RECIPE:

FILLING:

  1. Take a bowl and mix gulkand, paan masala, cardamom powder & tutti frutti. Mix well and keep this filling aside.

LADOOS:

  1. In a food processor, add chopped paan leaves and condensed milk. Process well both are well combined. Keep it aside.
  2. Heat ghee in a deep pan on medium flame.
  3. Add desiccated coconut and dry roast them in low flame for just about 2 to 3 minutes, until fragrant.                       NOTE: Remember the coconut shouldn't turn brown. The key is to constantly stir in this process.
  4. Add the condensed milk - paan mixture and stir to combine. You may add few drops of green food color at this point.
  5. Turn off the flame and allow the mixture to cool down.
  6. Grease your hands with little ghee, take small portion from the coconut mixture, flatten it and add 1/2-1 tsp filling in the center.
  7. Bring the edges together and roll to form a ladoo.
  8. Roll the paan coconut ladoos in desiccated coconut powder.
  9. Repeat the same process with the remaining ladoos.
  10. Garnish with mixed dryfruits.
