Beetroot Milkshake

The beautiful and bright colour of beetroot is hard to miss and so is its distinctive taste.

Here is a yummy and healthy beetroot milkshake. It is said that it helps in increasing your blood circulation too.

Cook time: 10 minutes

Total time: 15 minutes

Serves: 2

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 beetroot, boiled, peeled & cut into chunks
  • 3 tbsp or as per your taste caster sugar 
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder 
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 125 ml milk, frozen 

METHOD:

  1. In a blender,  puree the beetroot chunks.
  2. Add caster sugar, cinnamon powder, vanilla extract, milk and blend it well. 
  3. Pour beetroot milkshake in two glasses.
  4. Serve chilled!                                          Note: If you're taking chilled milk instead of frozen then you can add a scoop of ice-cream on top.
