Mango lassi

Enjoy this summer drink while fresh mangoes are still in season.
Mango Lassi is another popular version which has sweet mangoes blended with yogurt.
For this mango lassi recipe, I have used mangoes, yogurt, milk, sugar and cardamom.
RECIPE

Serves: 3
INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 mangoes
  • 1 cup yogurt 
  • 1/2 cup milk (cold) 
  • 3-4 tablespoons sugar or honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 3 tbsp mixed dry fruits (garnish)
  • Pinch of saffron strands (garnish)
METHOD:
  1. Peel the mangoes and chop them.
  2. Put mangoes in a blender and blend them.
  3. Now add yogurt. I have used plain yogurt here.
  4. Now add cold milk. Also add the sugar, vanilla extract and the cardamom powder.
  5. Blend everything until well combined. 
  6. Pour the mango lassi into serving glasses and chill before serving. 
  7. Garnish with mixed dry fruits, mango pieces and saffron strands before serving.
  8. The lassi can be kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
